Found a dropped stitch while staying in a motel room, without a crochet hook. I had been knitting while on the road, which was quite uneven in places. As this yarn continually splits, a dropped stitch in the pattern area wasn’t a surprise. Once I had the stitch anchored with the fork, I was able to secure it with one of my marker threads, until I could unpick and rework the rows. I wasn’t able to run the stitch up as is easily done with stocking stitch because of the encroaching pattern which is gradually working its way in from the points of the shawl.
