Summer Swirl

My first foray as a young girl into the fabulous realm of fibreart was knitting. In fact my father told me that he taught me to knit, I can’t actually remember learning, it just seems that I have always known how. Anyway on a recent “girls shopping spree” to Malanda, (apart from the most amazing experience of seeing a platypus in the wild for the first time), we went to the most amazing needlework/patchwork/craft shop. Cross Stitch Corner. I was seduced by a Patons yarn aptly named Summer Swirl. It is the equivalent of 4ply or fingering weight. The shade is Bosphorus. The other selling hook was the gorgeous shawl pattern on the side of the box.
